Movies/television-How do they effect your dreams?
Hey DVers,
During the last five months I haven't spent much time watching movies/anime, while in my childhood and past I watched those things or played on the computer almost every single day. Yesterday, however, I decided to relax completely and veg out since I've been stressing lately. So, I spent a lot of time reading manga and surfing youtube, etc, about like six or so hours over the course of the day [okay, probably a bit more:cheeky:]
THE POINT [as I'm sure you'd like to know] - My dreams last night had a very continuous feel to them, as if they were well scripted, and all of my dreams were from the third person, I was an observer and felt quite emotionally disconnected from the dream content, kind of like I was watching TV. All except for a short fragment directly before waking up where I was exploring part of a dream scene I had just exited [non-lucid but amazing vividness].
The last dream of the night felt like a super interesting comic/movie scene, incredible vividness, most than I've had since my last lucid - I'll post it in it's entirety in my DJ later this week when I have more time since the library is now closing :[
I was just wondering if anybody has noticed/ played with this at all, and what they've come up with. How does the day-residue of watching TV/spending a lot of time passively absorbing information [or junk] effect your dream content, vividness, and recall?
oh, and also
