Lucid Dream in a dream? Uh?

So, I had some pretty long dreams last night; but I'm only going to explain one part.


I got on a bus and went to a mall, then into a store. It had a bunch of Dragon Ball merch. and being the huge fan of the original Dragon Ball series I am, I freaked out. I checked prices of things and was happy to see they were actually quite low. I wondered if I had any money, and patted my pocket and smiled. I pulled a five and two toonies (CANADIAN POWER) out of my pocket.

I looked at a few things and told myself "Hey, wait a sec. If the prices change, I'm probably dreaming."

I kept repeating that over and over. But I...thought I seriously woke up, but not as me?

I was an old man with a huuuuge beard that covered my whole face. Apparently I had a lucid dream machine and I said to me 'wife' that if I pulled the lever to try again, it would probably break down.

So is this close, or does it mean something else? It really made me wtf when I woke up.

Once was dreaming normally ( not lucid ), then I went to bed while am dreaming and did a WILD but it failed, I'm still wondering what would happen if it succeeded .

I once had a dream where i fell asleep and had a lucid dream, that was really cool. i wonder if there is a way to make a technique to make yourself sleep in a dream and have a lucid dream inside that dream...

You could probably do this by just telling yourself you will. I've tried something like that..

I told myself I would dream about lucid dreaming, thus realizing I was in a dream. That night, I dreamt I was inside my doctors office. There was a doctor there, though he wasn't my doctor; he was explaining lucid dreaming to me, with some weird screen that displayed only green and black. On the screen was this picture

I didn't go lucid, but I succeeded in dreaming about lucid dreaming. I'm going to develop this further..

Well last night in a non lucid dream I went to sleep and had a non lucid dream that i cant remember very well and then woke up back into the original dream and became lucid.

thats kinda funny.
i'm going to try and develope some kind of technique that incorporates your dream self having a lucid dream.
