whenever I see lighting in my dream I wake up (strangely my eyes do burst open soon after I see the lighting and although awake, or seemingly awake, with open eyes the dream continues with me hearing the monstrous thunder then everything is normal).
That is off the topic. What is your dream weakness. A.K.A. dream event that almost always causes you to wake up instantly.
Thinking its time to go to school and waking myself up, of course.
Being stabbed in my back.. Strangely, it happens quite often.
I only wake myself up if I am completely terrified. I have been able to force myself to wake up when it comes to this but sometimes it can be painful. As far as other things causing me to wake up on their own, it would have to be something like black mist or something chasing me. Realistic stuff, demons etc are the things I don't want to mess with.
Nukes.
All my dreams end in nukes, everything is all happy, everyone starts screaming and pushing me, I hear alarms everywhere, I look up and there is a nuke about to hit the city.
I wake up.
Dont think I have one yet but my cat likes to wake me up by making noise IRL.
I had one a few days ago, I was locked in a small metal box with a keypad inside, I was mindlessly tapping at the keypad trying to get the box to open but eventually the claustrophobia got the best of me and I woke up.
Particular women. Surprisingly, being shot/stabbed or falling from a great height doesn't result in me waking up. I just hit the floor and get up - I firmly believe I cannot die, I guess.
Haven't got a lucid yet so I dunno. But probably NONE! :D

along with a paralysis that comes from a stabbing feeling in my back, my main problem is constantly missing dream signs. even telling other people its a dream without realising it properly myself :? wtf is that all about? probably some problem of my massive ego
The one thing that consistently wakes me up is reaching out to grab an object in a dream. As soon as I reach for it, the dream quickly fades out and I find myself reaching for an empty space on my bed. This happens anytime I dream about finding something that I once lost in real life, like childhood toys. Then I wake up irritated that I didn't really find it LOL.

Flying very fast doesn't wake me up; the dream doesn't seem to streak or destabilize for me. Actually, I can take a lot of adrenaline and excitement in my dreams without waking up now.
I guess in that case, my strength is that I can have profound and bloody battles against all kinds of entities wielding all kinds of weapons. Sometimes I lose, e.g. being impaled upon a spear - but that's only a brief loss because I don't wake up. I just get up continue fighting.
Sex... Doesn't matter if it's Lucid sex, Non-Lucid sex, oral sex, normal sex, anal sex, gay sex (yes, it did happen... once)... As soon as the action is about to start, I wake up.
I'm not trolling, it's true and this pisses me off!!!
It seems I'm not when I wake up like that LOL. I have no idea why, but I've had several of these awakenings each year for at least the last 12 years. If anyone has any possible explanations I'm all ears... it sure is a confusing way to wake up.Quote:
