Well I am going to be attempting my first WILD tonight. Hope it goes well! :D
I am going to be attempting my first MILD in a long while after a few month long hiatus tonight. Good luck!
Good luck both of you! =)
I try to do WILD every night, good luck to all of us.
I hope I do it, I'm gunna try and play the piano :D
I play the piano in real life, but I wanna be able to play this one song I'm working on
As am I trying a WILD tonight like I always do... And fail lol. What techniques are all of you using?:)
GL to everyone.
Heh my motivation tonight is to be a wizard like harry potter :D I really want to. That is what brought me out of a school-induced hiaatus
Well I tried it, and failed:/
Yeah, I felt like I was close to SP too. I heard some noises and a couple flashes of light. But the thing that confuses me is, where do I go from SP. Oh well
That's good! You were close! :D
You were in HH (hypnogogic hallucinations), the part after SP. This is the tricky part for a lot of people. If you haven't already, you are supposed to fall asleep while staying conscious. This is something I don't understand either, as I don't WILD and I have only done them accidentally (I'm one of the luckier people). But still, after falling asleep while staying conscious the dream will start to take form. Then you should wait about 15 or 30 seconds after the dream takes form. The reason this is is so that the SP doesn't carry over into the dream, which can easily happen if you try to move too soon. If you can't move during a WILD, what's the point?
I hope I helped!
Some people say I will feel myself falling through my bed (Stuff like that in general) and then I will know I am in a lucid dream
And also, when you are in a lucid dream, is it like real life? I understand that you know you're dreaming, but does everything look 100% real, as if you are awake.
And I know you have to be a member for 2 weeks to be adopted, but do you think you could adopt me?^.^
Lucid dreams aren't always like real life. For me they rarely ever are, as they're usually very blurry and unstable. But that's not always the case, especially if you use techniques to increase vividness.
Sure, I will adopt you when you have been a member for two weeks. I will only be available every other week, just keep that in mind. PM me when you hit two weeks. First time somebody has asked me to adopt them. :content:
What are the techniques? I'd like to had a legit LD someday, that'd be epic :D
Another thing I've been reading about is Dream Sharing and AP's. They look pretty scary but cool lol
And alright, when I hit two weeks I'll contact you:D
The clarity techniques? Stuff like shouting "Increase clarity!", rubbing hands together, &c.
I can start you off with shared dreams, but I'm still learning about that myself and I'm still a bit confused on the method! xD If I learn more along the way I will tell you (when I've adopted you, at least). Shared dreaming also has lots of crazy stuff involved with it that is VERY confusing, and I only know the overview of it but not how it is applied.
With AP, however, I won't be much help. I only know the basic idea and technique of it.
Alright thanks xD
Now I can't wait for two weeks lol :D
Or "Clarity Now!"
