Angry Dream Recall Stupidity On My Part

      I'm so pissed at myself:

I woke up this morning thinking "I better write my dreams down in my DJ" but I didn't because of laziness. At this point I had only remember one dream.

I got up, got in the shower. After about 5 minutes in the shower, I remembered 3 more dreams!

So then I thought: I should probably write them down.

But the the laziness in me said: I'm sure I'll remember them, no point in writing them down until tonight

When I got home at 5, I realized "Oh shit! I forgot ALL my dreams, not just the 3.

So now I have nothing to write in my dream journal, and all because I was lazy...

      That sucks.

Maybe you could type them? Or just ignore the laziness?

I'll just be sure to write them down when I wake up next time, as long as I'm not late

I use a voice recording app on my phone. It's easymode.

Yeah have a notebook next to your bed and write some key details and triggers, and then later on either type them up or write them into a good copy book or you could do what Foul does and use a voice recorder. I get really lazy as well while trying to remember my dream while lying in bed I usually just roll over and fall asleep and then forget the dream

Try to trigger your memory by repeating names of friends, places, dreamsigns etc in your mind and they might just pop up =)

Funny, I often remember my dreams in the shower. Or on rare occasions 8 hours later in the day... those times are odd. I used to always forgeet to write in my DJ because I would have a false awakening that made me think I had wrote my dreams down already. Odd indeed.

I have a similar problem. I know I should be writing my dreams down, but for some reason I don't. It's mostly due to the fact that I think I don't have the time to, except I really do. It only takes 5-10 minutes. I'm going to be more disciplined about it from now on. I suggest the same. It'll eventually become part of your routine and you won't even have to make the effort to do it.
