Spinning?
Hi everybody! I joined this site last year and it's been a while since I've been on, but within the past couple of months I've been experimenting with LDing, and I have a couple questions. I've seen other threads like this but neither seemed to apply to me as they both concerned spinning at the beginning of a dream.
Today I had a terrifying lucid dream. Not a nightmare, just a very, very, scary lucid dream. Though I was aware I was dreaming, I had very minimal dream control. In looking at different ways to stabilize dreams (as I've been struggling with a bit), I read about spinning. I'm wondering if, in a case such as the dream I had this afternoon, if spinning would be able to get rid of some of the fear. What happens when you spin? Does the whole environment change or just the feeling?
I don't know how to phrase what I'm asking, but I guess I'd just like some advice as to what to do if this happens again and if spinning would be an effective method? Any and all commentary would be appreciated!
Thanks!

If you mean to remove the cause of the fear, then spinning can do this. During a spin simply think of a different dreamscape, and then when you stop you should be there. Monsters gone. Whether your fearful emotional response has been eradicated or not is subject to how you would be if you suddenly woke up.

Great, I think I'll try that next time! Thank you.
