i had a dream that i suddenly had no pants on - i wont go into the details - and then i realized "Wait, why do i have no pants on?" and did a reality check and i was lucid. but i tried to fly, but then the dream faded and an ad type thing came up and said lucid dreaming on it. Did anyone else have this?
I've had a similar experience. After an RC, I became lucid and extremely excited as it was pretty much my first LD ever. I tried to fly but the dream began to fade around me, I began to panic but that just accelerated the fade out.
While I've never had a prolonged LD (for more than a perceived minute), I've heard a good thing to do if the dream starts fading when you gain lucidity is to stop what you're doing and just play casual observer. Make sure you remain aware, but allow the dream to sort itself out around you and it will supposedly stabilize and allow you to interact with it again. I haven't gotten the chance to try this yet, but I intend to next time I do a successful RC. Hope this helps!
