Vivid and Crafty DC Waking me Up

So, I had a pretty self-defeatingly unsuccessful series of lucid dreams the other afternoon (I'm a night worker/day sleeper, and WILD/SP comes pretty naturally). I was going in fully intending to have one of those 'Deep' conversations with my subconscious through a DC.

I wasn't being particularly specific, as I've done this kind of thing before by just walking up to the first dream person I would see and striking up the conversation.

This time, apparently, my subconscious saw me coming and didn't feel like cooperating. My transition from waking to SP to dreaming was pretty standard for me -- Buzzing noise in my head, then I felt myself roll out of bed. Usually once I walk/fall/float from bed, I can make my way to the nearest door or window, step through, and find myself in a dream.

This time, I crawled over to my window, pushed the blinds out of the way, and crawled outside. I was in a town, narrow street, tall buildings, not a great deal of foot traffic. Strangely, I was soon approached by an absurdly attractive woman (Indian, short hair). She introduced herself as 'Shanti', and put her hand on my cheek. She offered, before I said anything, that I didn't REALLY just want to talk. I was, suffice to say, instantly seduced, and my body's reaction instantly woke me up.

Couple minutes later, I drifted back into the dream... I called her name a couple of times, and she appeared from around the corner, waving and grinning. She welcomed me back, giving me a warm hug, and then she told me she loved me before giving my earlobe a nibble and... DAMN! Woke me up, again.

Good way to be annoyed, but it was pretty unusual in how readily I got overstimulated and woke up... Usually I can have some pretty intense dreams without getting to that point.

Next time you see her, blast her away before she even says a word. If thats to harsh, don't think about her, poof her away, tell her to get loss or something.

Get mad and push her away.

"Who's the boss here? I am. So leave before I get rid of you myself."

      Make sure you're assertive!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Whoah. I had another run-in with this particular dream character. Before going to sleep, I'd been pretty clear with myself about the 'Only Talking' plan... It took a little bit for me to remember to call for her, actually, once I realized I was dreaming (My lucidity was pretty solid, my clear thinking not so much).

Anyway, I did call out her name in a crowded room, and she almost immediately walked up from behind me. I kept having to rub my hands together/stare at them as the dream was getting fuzzy. When I got a clear look at her... The odd thing is that she was recognizable as the same person. However, she was also sporting a pretty wicked chin beard and some downright -hideous- scars of the 'No way a person survived that' variety.

Subconscious trying to curb my dream libido by breaking out the fugly, I guess. On the down side, I didn't really get into an interesting conversation, as I was distracted by the appearance and asked about THAT.
