Say you could have a totally clear lucid dream, which was stable and couldn't collapse, with no chance of waking up by accident.
It would last for a long time, maybe days, but only a night would go by in the real world.
What would you do in it? 100% clear, 100% stable, 100% recall.
Make a story about what you'd do, and it might help you actually do it one night. Almost like incubating it.
I'll edit this post when I come home and tell you my story. :)

Heh, I have an entire world designed in my head that I have been working on for over a year. Have always wanted to visit it, but never had the chance since I have been in the longest dry spell. I think if I was to have full lucidity and control I would at least spend some of the time over there, just 'exploring' and visiting some of the areas there (Which I can picture in my head, but would be soooo stunning to see in person).
Yeah yeah, boring to some, but heck if only I could show you some of the places. :P

I would soar through nebulae, spinning past colourful towers of gas clouds, travelling faster than the speed of light. Then I would fall to a stop on the main planet of my game, and visit the amazing city there. Who knows what would happen next?
Maybe I'd exit that scene, and go to the Mushroom Kingdom. I could also invent an area on the spot, or even find "God" (I'm an atheist) and ask him some questions.
I would probably ask a random dream character questions too, and see what they say.
Interesting idea: find an ipod, click play, and see what music comes out.
It may not be a long story but there are particular, in fact many memories that I would really enjoy reliving. Just simply reliving these memories.. not even changing most of them.. and I would love to meet my dream guide, as I had yet to even get close to this goal...
