I was just thinking about all my recent dreams and I seem to be able to recall a higher precentage of dreams where I am driving a car. I am wondering that maybe things that you have to be alert and focused in real life you try and be more alert and focused in your dream and thats why you remember it more. Any one have any similar examples?

nope cant say i do have similar examples or experiences. maybe thats a dream sign? all the dreams i remember are just random. then again im still pretty new at all this so

That is weird, maybe it depends on the person. My dreams are more vivid when I am outside, for example. But, you could be on the lookout when you are driving a car, as DayDreamer315 said. I would suggest that you don't look in any mirrors of the car, though.

Your reflection will usually be distorted in a dream (i.e. your teeth rot and fall out, you look like a scary demon, etc.). I wouldn't say don't try it though.

Driving a car is probably a dream sign. Everybody has them. They're signs or actions that return in most of your dreams. Everyone has their own personal dream signs

Woah, driving a car is my dream sign! In almost 50-75% of my dreams I am involved with some sort of transportation. It's usually driving the car, but sometimes I'm in a plane or on a boat. So yes, I have many examples. I think the two best things that have happened was once during my second or third lucid dream I made a pistol shape with my hand and then shot at something out the car window. The shot happened to be a nuke so I made a nuclear explosion outside of the car. Everything went really bright and the car protected me, plus I was lucid so I had a bunch of sensations, one was an intense warmth that felt amazing. The second best thing that I've done in a car was when I was driving the new Camero. I got up to almost 200 km/h hurtling down a highway (a highway I frequently drive on outside of Vancouver) and then I see a big hummer turn into my lane. When we crashed it was one of the best sensations I felt in a dream. Everything went sort of slow-mo. I could feel myself lifting out of the seat. And I knew that I was in a dream so I wasn't afraid.

Try thinking about lucid dreaming every time you get into a car. It might help to trigger one. You can also do a reality check every time you get in a car.

This isn't the case all the time. The reason is because people who do get that tell others not to look into the mirror because you look distorted an such.
