Bizarre Lucid expierence. Needing some answers from people educated in this matter.
I lucid dream about once a month, so last night was a BIG moment for me. I was so happy LOL. And it is really hard to concentrate and STAY lucid without waking up.
But in my dream, I was in my living room trying to adjust a store-front mannequin in my living room window (weird I know), when I suddenly became lucid. I mean it was just like, BAM, and at the same time, my dad comes storming in from his bedroom yelling at me about laundry, and dishes, and all kinds of random stuff that I knew didn't even matter because I was lucid and dreaming, and that I wasn't even really IN my living room. I remember him yelling about laundry, and dishes, and going on and on about vacuuming the floor and feeding the dogs. He started rambling on about the electric bill too, and how we keep wasting electricity by keeping the lights on all night. I was yelling back at him, "Dad go away IM LUCID, GO AWAY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE." But he wouldn't go away, or listen to anything I was saying. It was almost like a real life argument with my real dad.
The whole time though I was fixated on turning the mannequin into a living person because I knew I was lucid and wanted to see if I could do it. Really tripped me out. I was basically arguing and yelling at myself. Or at least a part of myself I couldn't control. I don't really understand how the brain is able to do all this stuff. It pretty much creates a world you are experiencing in real time.
And if you are lucid, then you are aware of that whole process while its happening which really messes with you. I would also like to know what triggers lucidity. I mean, it seemed pretty random to me. Like I wasn't even trying before i went to sleep or anything.
