Dreaming topics ?
I wanted to ask if there are any techniques where I can make myself dream about a certain topic ? I'm asking this because the majority of my dreams are about good looking women and every time I see one I do a reality check. But is it possible to make myself dream about them every night ?

You could try dream incubation, either that or MILD.

Yeah, MILD. Think about what you want to dream about before bed. Remind yourself to dream about it later, try to get the reminder into your subconscious. Some people have amazing success with this.

Dream incubation is in my experience immensely fun, and very rewarding once you've mastered it. If you wanna try this, you could start by analysing your dreams in terms of what things from the day have influenced parts of the story. From there, you'll learn things about what your brain accepts and rejects, and you can feed it content accordingly. You'll probably find that there are patterns. There are well known scientific facts, such as that the brain receives information into subconscious more willingly in Alpha state, but there are also personal factors ie:
What time of day you think of/do the things in dreams? (there could be a more personally effective time of day to incubate)
Are they from T.V/radio/books/conversation? (There might be a format your brain works with best)
How often did you think about them over the course of a few days? (determines how long you might have to incubate)
This is my method, and people can gladly quibble with it if it seems bad to them, but if you need any help, feel free to PM me.
Good Luck :)

I've never heard of this 'dream incubation' thing until now. I didn't start the post, but thanks for the info. I'll research it more, and might try it myself. It seems very interesting. I've never even considered doing anything like that.

Yeah, just think about what you want to dream about. If you think about it for throughout most of the day, it should work. I agree with the dream incubation idea, as well. You could also keep telling yourself that you will dream about it, and trick your sub-c into thinking it will happen, for sure.

Can someone tell me how not to dream about something? Too many of my dreams are about the same thing!
I agree with thinking about what you want to dream before you go to sleep. Having it be one of the last thoughts before you fall asleep will surely help. I have done that before and it usually works.

This is just an opinion, and I hope an expert can help much more than me:
1.Not dreaming of something sounds difficult in a non-lucid, because before you can think of not dreaming something, the subject would naturally be in your mind, which might mean you dream it anyway. The only thing I wonder is if you might be able to push something out of your dreams by completely ignoring it and focusing more positive thoughts on other things.
2. On a positive note, you must have some very clear Dream Signs, which could aid you in having more LDs
