Confusing WILD question?

If wild is wake into lucid dream, are we just supposed to stay still in bed with our eyes closed? Or do our eyes have to be open, because we are supposed to let our bodies fall asleep but our minds still awake.

TL;DR - Keep eyes open while trying to WILD? Or keep them shut?

I always attempt WILD with my eyes closed. I feel like the blinking reflex could screw you up...

Do you normally sleep with your eyes open?
