Help with DEILDS

So i have yet to get a LD. But i am very VERY good at knowing when i wake up, so i can almost every night attempt to DEILD.

But i have a problem, I don't know what to think about when im laying still tryling to relax/not move. I know people say to start thinking of a place you want to dream about but i have trouble doing that; I also start to think "finally im about to LD" and all that stuff and i think i get excited and i fail it.

Today i was in the middle of a awesome dream (Non-LD) and the phone rang, I was awoken but i knew instantly that I had just woken up from a dream. So i layed still, relaxed and felt like my body was about to enter sleep mode again. I started to try and clear my mind of all thought (i want my mind to make its own dream i don't care about the setting of my 1st LD), and i started to feel "light". I also at this point started my usual thinking "I'm about to enter a LD!" and as soon as i did, i felt like my mind and body found out i was still awake and snapped me out of it. After this i layed still for about 1-2 minutes and gave up.

So any tips on how to help me? what do i think about? How do i train myself not to think about entering my 1st ever LD. This is like the 10th time in 2 weeks i know when i awake from a dream and i just CANT seem to get this down.

I have yet to DIELD, but when I'm on the verge of entering a dream (WILDing) I find the best thing to do is to relax, as if you're trying to fall asleep. Next thing you know you'll feel like you're separating into your dream body. Just continue to relax through the transition and you'll soon be inside of a dream.

What you should do is check out a DEILD tutorial, from my experiences I would say just relax and let your thoughts wander about the place you just had the dream in, soon enough you will enter it it doesn't matter if you don't like the scape you were just in (unless it was a nightmare, then you should procede with caution) because you can change it in the dream. One thing that would help you would be to visualize surroundings from the last dream in greater detail until without you realizing it, you are in the dream. Thats my problem though, When i start feeling the transition i start getting excited and i end up failing the phase D:

Im starting to get really really angry with myself, Sooo many chances T.T....

I often use a variation on the DEILD technique called FILD (finger induced lucid dream). It is where you focus on tactile sensations instead of visualizing. It still uses the moment that you exit a dream. Personally, I find it easier to stay focused because you concentrate on a small sensation instead of a whole dreamscape.
