to be honest mate, my dream signs are so much similar to every day life - school, friends, teachers e.t.c.
The aim of a reality check is basically to help induce DILD - dream induced lucid dream.
As Puffin says in her guide, the reality check isn't the first thing that makes you lucid.
Reality checks are to confirm your suspicion that you're dreaming.
The idea of an RC is to also add the most important check, a mind RC. Ask yourself if you're dreaming. that's the thing that will make you have a massive realisation that you're dreaming. You only do you're hand check for example after the question, which 100% certifies the fact that you're dreaming.
If your dream signs are very weird, ermm, bad example, water.
Whenever you see a pond, glass of water, e.t.c., Reality check, sure. It'll help. But the mind one is the important one to be honest.
