dream recall in the early morning = inconvinient

My bed is always so warm and comfy when i wake up! It has been making it very hard to get up and record my dream, and to make it even worse lately i've been waking up mad times before my actual wake up in the morning. So because of this i have all these mini dreams along the way, but there not vivid at all, barely memorable, so i haven't been recording them in my journal. what is your take should i be doing more on my part to record these?

(on a side note, what are peoples thoughts on using a watch to make an hourly tone to which i do a reality check to? in the hopes that ill hear it go off while sleeping and do a rc in dreamscape?)

I know the feeling What I find to help is if I replay/go through the lucid dreams I just had so that they'll stay in my memory long enough for me to record them. If you don't have a voice recorder or a voice recorder app, you could keep a notebook and a pencil write (couldn't resist ) next to your bed.

I would record any dream fragment that you can remember, at the very least you will inprove your dream recall, I have also heard that some people get a voice recorded and just record themselves speaking there dreams. For you dont have to move around. Its a lot easier for some people instead of writing it all down, and if you have it recorded you can just write it down later. And for the hourly RC thing its worth a shot different things work for different people. Hope it helps.

My friend would just write down a few key words or a sentence about the dreams he had if he didn't have time to write them down. Sometimes just remembering a small part of a dream is enough to bring back the entire memory and you can write it down later in the day. I just go through the dreams in my head whenever I wake up before getting out of bed and then I'll continue to go over them as I get ready in the morning. I'll at least be able to recall them for the rest of the day, and if they were really interesting the memory might stick around for a month or even longer. I quit keeping a DJ just because it takes way too long to write down all of my dreams.
