Thread: I'm going to bed now and I'm gonna lucid dream!!

Good luck, me too. But how many times have I tried that and it's failed?: "Okay, I have made a decision. I'm going to have a lucid dream tonight. It's been decided, it's going to happen." And it doesn't happen...

I failed. There were plenty of weird things that happened too that should've triggered lucidity, but I suck at DILDs. When I tried to WILD I got stuck in the first phase of vibrations unable to transition into SP, maybe I was trying to hard I dunno.

I can't seem to catch onto the weird things in my dreams either even the super obvious ones. I know I'll probably rely on reality checks. Awesome signature by the way!

It may seem like a curse buts it's a gift

If you're referring to me, ...i would say too much of it is a curse.
I would like to learn how to stop it from occurring 1 night, or whenever I'm tired.
Lucid enters my sleep every night without me having to think or anything, and I (unwillingly) have to Participate those Event/s it throws at me.
And I can't ignore them because, every Event had meant something about my life that I probably need to notice.
Its good, but too Tiring (felt like its taking up my sleep time). Every emotion I had in it felt so solid.
Therefore I concluded that the effect of Natural Lucid on me = causes Weariness
Probably never heard this before did ya? Thats because this only seems to be happening on me, unless you've actually heard it somewhere?
If yes, I would appreciate Ideas to control it.

I wish I could just do that, I usually have to end up WILDing before I have a successful dream. I don't like WILD because of the potential "old hag" thing. Me and Mr.Lucid don't seem to get along very well sometimes.

It lasted a few seconds, then I woke up... then I went back in, then I woke up again, then I lost consciousness. o.O

I was moderately successful last night. I WILDed and then roamed around my house aimlessly for about 5-10minutes, but then my phone started buzzing and I thought it was my alarm in real life and I had to get up. So I woke up and checked the time; I didn't have to be awake for another hour! I tried to WILD again, but was too tired I just fell asleep.

You unwillingly have to participate? If you are lucid don't you have at least a little bit of control? Could you not just sit and stare at the ground if you wanted rather than go along with the dream?

Yes I definitely will remember it as long as I think about it after I wake.

I have most of the control from the start to end in fact. Just that, I can't jus stand and do nth.
Supprisingly when I tried that, the DCs will jus keep staring at me and ask me whats wrong..then I'll feel retarded.
Last night, I had double layer dream, means I have to wake 2 times. When I met a serious problem at the 2nd layer dream, I forced myself out of that scene and to wake on the 1st layer. And when I felt it was safe enough, I went back to the 2nd layer to investigate furthur.
Wonder what I'm thinkin about..to go back and forth like that.
Arh so make me feel so tired in the morning. Like never sleep (felt like my mind's active throughout the night).

OK. Now I feel stupid. Well, not really X)
I had fever the whole night, because of my cold - not be able to sleep when you want it to death definitely something horrible
Slept about 2 hours - from 8 am till 10 am. Had epic long vivid dream about plague and water apocalypse in Moscow
Also had short dream about me having a baby. At this point I felt that there is something strange, but this one month old evil little creature started to sing all my favorite songs. "Well, she's MY daughter, of course she knows all the words of my favorite songs, because I know them, duh" - my brain instantly rationalized...
I guess, I'm gonna nap later in the afternoon, just because I need more sleep. Last method to cure my cold today - vodka and honey X) And then off to have lucid dreeeaaams. Yeah.
