Advanced Journal - Is this a Wild?

I've decided to hit the books pretty hard this time.

I've started a dream journal with a description, note, analysis and conclusion section. The reason I did this is because often times I would write down my dream and have some "I just woke up" analysis inserted into the story. It became hard to read the journal later.

I also have a day-time section to cross check my dreams with my real life experiences. For instance, on my first day I found a really interesting corelation between what happened in my dream and what happened in real life. This time was minor, I've had bigger ones.

Also, I've always found WILDing difficult. It feels impossible to maintain awareness. My head just starts to stream video if you will. Next thing I know I'm contemplating something unrelated to reality.

However, this is where my question comes in. The only time I'm able to do anything near lucidity is when my eyelids "go away". I begin to be able to see through my eyelids. Sometimes I see my surroundings, sometimes I have an inate sense of an object in front of me that might as well be viewable. Is that a WILD? Could I use that induce lucidity? it usually happens during a nap or when I'm waking up.

that's fine, some techniques work for some people and others don't, it's just a matter of finding what works best for you.

However, this is where my question comes in. The only time I'm able to do anything near lucidity is when my eyelids \"go away\". I begin to be able to see through my eyelids. Sometimes I see my surroundings, sometimes I have an inate sense of an object in front of me that might as well be viewable. Is that a WILD? little confused on what you're saying here but I'll try to help out.
it sounds a bit to me like an OBE, though I don't know a whole lot about those. seeing through your eyelids? you mean it's like your eyes are closed but you can still see? when you look around, is it in the same room where you're asleep, as if your eyes are really open? that definately sounds like the beginning of an OBE.
if that isn't the case, and you're seeing dream content or something like that, sure, seems to me like you're starting to accomplish a WILD. as long as you're getting from the waking world to the dream world, staying conscious in the process, it's a WILD.

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.

it sounds to me as if you are imagining the object in front of you so much that your beginning to "see" it.

Try to "see" something else where you want to be dreaming. Then maybe you'll begin to see more and more of your suroundings and appear in a dream.

Maybe i'm way off of what your getting at, but hopefully this helps.
