      I'm Motivated Again!

Ok see, I get really into lucid dreaming, and motivate my life into it. But after a while, I just gradually lose interest and stop trying to induce lucid dreams. Then, after a long period, I get motivated again. So, I'm looking for help. I had a surprise lucid dream the other night, and it reminded me of how cool they are. So now I'm going to dedicate myself to lucid dreaming, again.

I'm so out of it now that I can't even write down my dreams. I mean, I wake up, I remember them, I even think to myself, "I should write this down", but I'm just so overwhelmingly tired I cannot do it. Are there any methods to force myself to write down my dreams?

What i am doing, is when i wake up in the morning, i just think through my dreams in my head as i get up and get dressed and stuff... I make sure i can remember it until later, in the afternoon, when i can write it down.

I try to do that, but it never happens for me. And I often remember vivid dreams when I wake up in the middle of the night, and want to go back to sleep.

      you obviously aren't that motivated.

what I'd do is jot down important parts, and then fill in the details later. as long as you can remember them clearly, do that. but unless you're into dream interpretation, writing down everylittledetail isn't super important, as long as you are at least able to recall them.

I find the trick to finding the energy to write something down is getting out of bed. Often one of the babies wakes up crying briefly during the night, so that gets me out of bed for a few minutes anyways.

Another trick I sometimes do is drink a fair bit right before you go to bed. When you wake up, you most likely will HAVE to get out of bed! So than I just drag my notebook to the bathroom with me and sit and write in it there! heh
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always gotten there first, and is waiting for it."
