1. Your body temperature lowers a decent amount when you sleep. Normal.
2. Make sure to eat healthy. What you eat greatly effects recall, vividness, etc. Instead of saying "eat this" and "eat that" just keep it healthy and you should be ok. Secondly, don't open your eyes or move after waking up, that helps, keep a dream journal for any fragments you may recall, and try to go to bed confirming you will remember dreams in the morning. When pared with a strong emotion (any emotion, though excitement would probably work well) will help with the autosuggestion.
3. Depends on the dream for me, they can have a great effect on how my mood is in the morning.
