Becoming Lucid but deciding your dream is reality
So became Lucid for like only the 4th time the other day.
I’d been dreaming i was climbing up a giant chest of draws, the thing had toppled over, and i’d landed on the back of it. When i realised I was in a dream.
Because I knew the second I became Lucid, I’d soon wake up; I quickly decided to get a bit of Flying Time in. But as I jumped off to into the air, all it did was result in me belly flopping back onto the hard surface. I could swear that I even felt my chin slam against the ground. It was then that I asked myself if I was actually dreaming at all. I stood back and decided I’d got it horribly wrong and was actually awake the whole time.
Then I woke up.
This was a strange Lucid Dream on a few points.
A) I couldn’t fly, which I’m sure happens to a lot of Lucid Dreams from time-to-time
B) I’m sure I felt pain, or discomfort or at least the feeling of hitting the ground
C) After being Lucid and realising this was a dream, I’d come to the conclusion that maybe it wasn’t at all.
Has this happened to many Dreamers out there?
You’ll have to excuse me if this is quite a regular thing for most, still a novice at becoming Lucid here.
