I've only had one true wild and for me it was not only more vivid but also i had a lot more control over the dream. I've also had dreams where ive done a wild while already in a dream and that too increased both the vividness and my control of the dream. For non-wild lucids i find that by asking out loud for increased clarity, or by imagining a dial somewhere that you can turn to increase the realness of a dream, helps.
Depends on the person, generally for newbies though WILDs are better than DILDs.
Really? I thought DILDs were easier for newbies. But I guess it differs from person to person :) haha I'm not good at WILD at all..
Yeah, DILDs are easier for newbies, but for some reason lack lenght, stability and vividness, while the WILDs newbies speak of sound better. For me WILD has always been lower than DILD, but yeah everyone is different.
For me, WILDs are sometimes very vivid and sometimes not. About the same as other lucid dreams.
But, I think I tend to be more conscious in WILDs, able to remember my goal more often than when I lucid dream through DILD.
I've heard a lot of talk about WILDs being more vivid, though personally I couldn't tell you because I've never WILDed before. I think, though, it's more about not rushing and stabilizing your dream. For me, stabilizing though increasing sensory input has always improved clarity. Keeping a stable dream and also what I've refered to in the past as "focusing". It's sort of like, trying to direct greater concious effort into percieving your dream world, that's the best I can describe it.
