How about a little experiment

Ok so here is something I found unusual. A while ago I set a task for myself the next time I become lucid I will try to recall what date it is and say it outloud.

On April 29th I became lucid and recalled the date as being "April 24th", and I was totally convinced of it, until I woke up of course. Then on May 4th I recalled the date as being "May 1st", and once again it was a completely convincing false memory. I will try it again next time, because I'm curious if there's a pattern going on, that maybe the date I recall in my dreams will always be 4 or 5 days earlier than the actual date in reality. So here's a little experiment:

The next time you become lucid, try to recall what date it is, and you can add the day of the week too. I'm really interested to see if it will be the real date, or something else like it was in my case. Please post what happens. :D

I recalled that it was Wednesday once in a dream, and it was in fact Wednesday - I'd fallen asleep after waking up in the middle of the night, at around 3:00 AM Wednesday morning. :) As for full dates... Yikes! I'll have to try that sometime and see if my mind decides to play tricks on me.

Update: I successfully recalled the real date last night in my lucid dream. Nothing special, but yeah, I managed to do it.
