Too many dreams?
I keep hearing people complain about bad dream recall...but mine's the opposite. When I wake up and get ready to write my dreams down in my DJ, I have too many dreams jumbling around in my head to write it easily, because I'll start writing one and I'll get messed up by thinking of others. Any suggestions on how to tune down my dream recall, or control it better? Thanks.

you don't need to tune down your recall, you need to improve your clarity.
if your dreams are getting mixed up, they're not clear enough. once your dreams are clear, then you should focus more on everything else.
or, alternatively, you might not need to improve anything at all. have you had superb recall since before writing down dreams in your journal?

I've had a similar trouble a few times.
I've not tried this, but it might be a good idea to draw up a mind map or something. (a.k.a. a spider diagram)
The first memory of a dream you think of, write it somewhere on a sheet of paper. Then think of the closest memory to that, something close in relation and in your memory of how close in time. Write that memory next to the other memory (or draw a little line to it or whatever)
Do the same for the new memory, and keep doing it for the original memory. Keep branching off. You might figure out when the end of a dream was.
This would hopefully mean you can narrow down the memories and have more of a chance of being able to tell which memory came from where.
Like I said, I've never tried that. It was just an idea on the spot. I think I should try it though some day, it makes sense.

You are not alone, today I had 5 dreams I could remember. Strangely one of them was a continuance of a dream I had before it.
