Most effective herbal lucid dream supplement to use?

PLs only answer this if you have some knowledge of LD supplements.

I am eager to obtain lucid dreams and maybe use herbal supplements to do this. A while ago I used some tablets which contained:

Lycoris radiata extract (as galantamine HBr) 4 mg
Choline (as choline dihydrogen cirate) 100 mg
      Melatonin 0.5 mg

It did seem to effect my dreams and make them more lucid some but I found the effect was not consistent and now I am looking perhaps for a single ingredient like maybe a stronger dose of just Galantimine as I hear that's the best.

So for anyone who has used any of these herbal supplements to help get LD please can you tell me what ingredient is the best in general and naybe recommend something. Thanks. Remember these are HERBAL drugs I am talking on so nothing prescription or illegal.

Also does anyone know when the best time to actually take these types of tablets is? is it just before sleeping? it best minutes before actual sleep or a couple of hours or so before?

Pls no answers like "you don't need tablets" etc etc I am after specific info here thx.

For galantamine and choline, search for the thread on it on these forums.
Basically if you're in the U.S you can buy galantamine pills legally, without prescription. I think for some reason everywhere else you need a prescription though.

Extracts are not consistent. You can buy choline pills almost anywhere.

Most people take them with WBTB to get a better effect. I think. The thread on it will have more info.

The purported best herbal supplement is Calea Zacatechichi. You can buy a seedling/cutting and grow your own plant or just buy a bag of dried leaf (which is really bitter). Fresh leaf is not bitter at all really.

There's more info on this on the main website with other supplements too.

Cannabis works for some people. If you live in a medical marijuana state/country, get one with more delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, Not delta-9. Delta-8 is supposed to be the one which promotes dreaming. Although it may be very hard to find info on which strains have high levels of this compound, and nigh impossible if you don't live somewhere where it's legal.

I have been a regular user of herbal based supplements for the past three years with remarkable success. I only use the supplements on Saturday nights (Sunday morning) and, with the exception of one night, have WILDs every time. My weekly routine is as follows: set my alarm for 4 a.m.; at that time I take 4 mg capsule of Galantamine, two 250 mg Choline, plus 1/4 of a 21 mg nicotine patch. I force myself to stay awake until 4:45 a.m. at least, to give the supplements time to kick in. I lucid dream usually until 7:00 a.m. then go into a normal dream. I started using the supplements after reading "Advanced Lucid Dreaming: The Power of Supplements" by Thomas Yuschak. I have been experimenting with lucid dreaming since I read "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen Laberge in 1991. I hope this helps.
