Attractions and feelings changing?

The other night, I dreamed about hanging out with one of my friends, she has a boyfriend, and I'm not really attracted to her, but in the dream, we began kissing and then everything fast forwarded and we were dating. In the dream, I was 100 percent attracted to her, and can honestly say I know what love feels like, because in the dream I was in love with her. But in real life, we are just friends. Now, after having that dream, I feel attracted to her, because of what happened in the dream.
I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if other people have had a similar experience of feelings being altered in a dream, and then becoming real when you wake up.

you may be in love with the thought of her and not her, if you know what i mean.

Also, you may have just never looked at her in that light before. When you did in the dream, you realized that you actually are attracted to her. Often times, when you look at someone as a friend, you don't look passed friendship. Just my two cents :P.

Plus, I think subconsciously you were attracted to her, but because she has a boyfriend you didn't want to have those kinds of feelings out of respect.

Hey, I've had similar experiences with a regular dream character before. The depth of emotion available in such dreams is incredible! In my dream, there was marriage involved :) Other dreams involved just touch or dancing, and the experience felt amazing. Nothing in real life even compares.

My advice is: disregard the real life feelings, they are just an afterglow of that powerful experience. Remain friends.

I think everyone who's posted before myself is correct. The storyline of a dream thrives off of a persons subconscious. If you haven't noticed, the more you think about something consciously, the more that "thing" your thinking about pops up into your dream. Though you may have never developed these feelings consciously it may have been deep in the back of your mind. You shouldn't feel like this isn't normal because it happens all the time, so its perfectly normal. Just don't let this ruin your friendship, if something does happen in the future.. just let it happen.. don't force it.

this has happened to me before. I had a dream with a DC and I literally fell in love with him, it was an amazing feeling and when I woke up I was sad....the feeling only lasted for like a day though.
a year ago I had a dream about a guy and in the dream we were dating, the next few days i felt attracted to him...i had another dream a few nights ago with that guy and had that same feeling for a few hours after waking up. And I never felt I liked this guy in real life, and i barely see him.
