Build a World: A guide to controlling everything in a dream while awake
Here is a technique I have came up with by combining many things here on DreamViews.
What am I talking about, you ask? What I am talking about is the ability to not only become lucid in nearly every dream, but the ability to design a dream universe without needing to know anything about dream control.
Although this may seem hard to accomplish, it is not hard in theory. What you need to have lots of, though, is patience, confidence, and dedication. Here is what you need to do.
During the day, picture whatever dream you want in your head many times. Look around and perform a reality check every time you think about a world you have in mind to affirm that it is a dream world and not reality. Whenever you think about it, picture it as if it is a memory from your dreams. Say for instance you want a world that is an alien planet. Picture how each alien flora and fauna reacts to you and how it feels. Recall "fake" memories of the place. Say for instance, you recall how one of your friend DCs tamed a creature on the planet and how you laughed when he fell off it. Although these are not real memories, KNOW that they are real. Eventually you will start to truly think they are real. You can do the same for Dream Guides. My own dream guide was fashioned by me in the same way, I thought of fake experiences I had had with him and remembered his personality. Eventually, with practice, your mind will create the world on it's own, with all the characters and places. And as soon as you recognize it, you will become lucid.
