      I will lucid dream again in June

      I've been trying off and on all year to lucid dream again to no avail. My dream recall hasn't been good at all, and I haven't been able to stay motivated to do enough reality checks during the day to remember to do it in dreams.*

      I havent had a lucid dream since 2008 when I was having them twice a month.

      That all changes tonight. Every morning starting tomorrow I'm going to meticulously enter into my dream journal.*
      I'm going to set times during the day to reality check and actually stick to it.*

      I'm going to finally have another lucid dream for the first time in almost 2 years this month.
      By putting this out there, I can have some social pressure to make sure I follow through.*

      Anyone else on a dry spell? Who's with me to make June the month you lucid dream again?

      Good luck to you and I know you can do it ! Just stay persistent, confident, and never give up. Also, when you are performing your reality checks, make sure you aren't just going through the motions. Take a few moments to look around at your environment and ask yourself, "Could I be dreaming right now?" Pretend that you are actually in a dream and then perform your reality check.       My dream frequency dropped from 3 to 4 vivid ones a night to 0 per night. Morning dreams from 2 or 3 vivid ones down to 1 vague one most of the time nothing. It's been like that for a year over, it never improved. I used to blame it on late nights but I also had good drea recall in the past when I slept late..so I attribute the loss of dream recall to anxiety. It really drowned the purpose for wanting to lucid dream but recently it came back but it's not a good as before. I also noticed sleeping past 2am I get vivid dreams than if I slept like before 12. My theory is that the later I sleep the mind skips deep sleep and go on to REM being the most important and REM more to cramp in a night's worth of REM within a short time. Ad the morning i also dream vividly but I don't have a good rest because of lost deep sleep.

      Try to alternate your sleep positions. You want to be comfortable enough to go to sleep but not so comfortable they u fall into a deep slumber. Wbtb and sitting upright in a recling chair with pillows on my neck and lower back works well for me. good luck. namaste.

      I'm definitely with ya. I WILL LD THIS MONTH! I definitely also need pressure from everyone. So come on people encourage us and join in the June LDing season <3
