can we feel anything?
I was just wondering,
is it possible to actually feel physical things while dreaming? Because I know that typically I don't feel things that hurt, like if I was to be hit by something in my dream. But I have had dreams before where I'd be on a roller coaster and I can feel that dropping sensation in my stomach, and its quite uncomfortable. I was wondering if there are other things you can feel in dreams.

Hello Tell-Her-Tonight
Yup you can feel pretty much all the sensations that you feel in the waking world. I guess it all depends on the person also. Im like you I do not feel pain in my dreams (physically) but I can feel wind, a touch, or anything that I touch in a dream even the feeling of someone touching me. If I swim in the water I can feel the water around me and etc.. Everyone is pretty much different alot of people in the forum can feel pain in dreams.. you'll see by thier responses, soon..

Pain often fades very fast in dreams, so even if you do feel it you might not remeber. Or you remeber it as being a lot less painful.

I agree, Ive remember beeing bitten by a dog and remembering that it hurt, but not as intensly as I would in RL. Also, sensations seem to be your minds best interpretation in the dream.

i remember falling of a cliff in a non-LD, and i do remember a kind of 'crushing' sensation, no pain, just a feeling like that, which I *thought* hurt in the dream but didn't hurt hurt..If you get what I'm sayin?
Know what i'm saying? :/
