Just a thought. it'd be cool. like form a relationship with a dream character. and everynight she'd be there in your dream.
Has anyone ever had this?

you sound lonely
While I'm sure it's possible, I don't think it'd be healthy. If you think about it, DCs are easily manipulated by you, and in doing this you'd of course create what you might find to be the "perfect" person. And that could harm your real-world interactions in looking for a partner, as they would never be as perfect as a DC created by yourself.
Of course, maybe I'm just over-thinking it, but the thought occurred to me and I figured I'd go ahead and post it. :P
great idea! she'll never dump you
she'll always be there,
you will be allowed to bang her and not get her pregnant
and you will have someone to hang out with.
jk it's not that great, you might get spoiled with the perfect woman and end up as a 40 year old in your mothers basement.
Have you ever heard of craigslist?
I can understand the want for a perfect girl, and I understand the easiest way to get the perfect girl is in your dreams. I had a non-lucid dream a few years ago about a crush I had, and something inside made me feel great. I fear if you go lucid and believe you're having a great time, you'll feel that way. Because, when I awoke, I was a bit unhappy that the perfect girl was a dream. You might get so close to this girl you will lose lucidity and then it will continue a non-lucid dream where you feel great but get depressed afterwards.
You are here to learn a skill that will get you anything you want, but I don't think a replacement for the real thing is a great use for lucid dreams. Use your time wisely in an LD, and fly or fight demons from the underworld.
A lot of girls already do that in terms of creating an ideal in their head that no normal guy can live up to and then other people have to deal with their nervous breakdowns...or are just my friends like that? :panic:
I don't see how it can be any different...except, maybe, even worse.
Oh quit picking on him. : P
I'm happily married but I would -love- to have a dream lover that I could meet up with whenever I wanted.
To answer your question, I think it's possible. As long as you don't get obsessed, as Zebrah says, I don't see why not, either.
There's a lot of negative ideas about this. Most of them are legit though, but I think they have the concept wrong, to what you have in your head OP.
You don't want the perfect girl in your head to idolize like some sort of sick freak who worships this one imaginary girl who ends up a loner who is unable to deal with real life? Yeah, thats a little too extreme compared to what this is- a concept.
Sure, you could make up someone perfect for you, that you can hang out with every night in your dreams. This doesn't automatically mean that you will grow to idolize them and not want to interact with anyone in the living world.
I say go for it, I'm sure you, and everyone else on here are mentally capable enough to avoid being sucked into some sort of abyss where you become some sort of neckbeard, basement dwelling slave to your perfect creation.
To think aswell the feeling of love is a VERY strong feeling and emotions within dreams are amplified to a much higher degree it would be wierdly an incredible feeling indeed. But it would also hurt to know that they don't exist.
It would be like the inception thing with poor old leonardo ;)
I would think it would be just fine. You just have to remeber that she is a figment of your own imagination and, in fact, a part of your own mind projected the dream world. As long as you keep up with waking life normally, there's no problem.
It actually sounds like a pretty good thing to do with some lucids, if you ask me. :)
Yeah it could be fine. I wouldn't spend my lucid dreams just having sex and dating a dream character but it's not my dreams :D That's the fun of lucid dreaming. You can do whatever you like.
This reminds me of how dreams usually create fake contexts for you. Sometimes they give you a context that you've dreamt a person up before, and that this dream is the next dream you're with her. Anyways, I think that would just be too frightening. Creating a human form every night...fooling yourself into thinking that the person exists and has "will." If I did this, the girlfriend would just end up a demon...every night.
I don't think it's that bad of an idea.
You just have to understand that it's just a dream, like everyone else is suggesting.
But, I mean, I think you could use lucid time more productively, like fly and stuff :L
It wouldn't be that great developing a relationship with some one that's not realy, where's the fun?
This post was slightly contradictory ^^^^
