My dreams have never told me that before...but one time...during one of my lucids where I was just messing around that line from The Killers song "Heaven aint close in a place like this" kept repeating over and over again, like I was doing something evil, or I was wasting my time being lucid for my own pleasures. I took it as a sign to stop fucking around so much in my lucid dreams and actually try to learn something. And I think I have learned so much since then. I don't know if that's what you meant or not...just an experience I had.

My dreams seem to support the old Zoroastrian view of a Universal Battle between Goodness and Evil, Light and Darkness. Perhaps if you are the kind of person who could never be very useful one way or the other, then it largely does not matter. But if one is active and capable, than both sides may attempt to recruit you.

A few decades ago I had a dream that I was in Elijah's Cave and the Old Man came up to me and told me "The Principalities vie for your Soul" and he pointed upward and we could suddenly see the sky through the ceiling of the Cave. Dragons, and a great many of them, circled above in aerial combat.

It would be naive to suppose that Evil does not attract as many or more than Goodness can. Evil does not call itself Evil, but has many euphemisms... we hear a good deal about Freedom and Free Trade, which are the virtues enshrined by predators and barbarians. Half the newspapers in the World demonize Socialism and Liberal Politics, effectively flipping the traditional sense of Morality so that sharing and caring are renounced in favor of a guiltless impulse to hoard and indulge in the most unbridled selfishness. We are made to suppose that World Civilization is a Game where everyone must play 'fair', that is, to lose graciously to the most powerful predators and to be good losers while being pillaged. And it is all quite popular. America voted for it by a slight majority. Europe has its share of conservatives, though many are bullied into it (no one will invest in your country until you surrender to AngloAmericanism).

I suppose these are the End Times and would like to think that we are on the cusp of a New Era, of Heaven on Earth. But realistically, isn't there more evil in the world than good?

So I cannot believe that the Decent Dreams of any Moral Soul are not doing their best to recruit us for the Cause of Light against what now seems like a universally descending cloud of utter darkness.

its just everyone wanting a bigger slice of the pie for themselves. this is what politics is ALWAYS about.

the people with power, use whatever they can to keep their power, whether that power is guns or guilt. "evil" is merely a social construct used as a tool to induce social ostracism and guilt.

when it comes down to it, its a dog eat dog world. to think that humans should be above that, is to deny evolution. and to deny the existence of fear. the fear that someone/group with more power will come along and take what you value away from you.
