Ok, I knw there's some threads for this already, but I'm getting kind of annoyed...
So, the first time I had a lucid, I was like :woohoo: I'M LUCID!! :woohoo:
lucidlucidlucidlucid!! :banana:yayayayayayay:banana: (yeah, you get the point) Anyway, the first thing I did was running around, ensuring that NO DC missed the fact that I was lucid, I jumped, fled, shot magic, summoned DCs etc.
after a while, I woke up, pretty happy about my first, real lucid(have had lucids before that, but I didn't know that I could control it...)
BUT:nono:
It was one thing that I wasn't so happy about: The stabilizing(was that spelled right?). When I got lucid, I didn't stop AT ALL to calm down and to think that this is my dream and so on. I didn't stop to look at details, i didnt stop to stabilize when I felt the dream was vanishing.
But, I thought that it was okay, because it was my first real lucid, and that I had plenty of time to practice.
Now I've had 20+ lucids, and I ALWAYS forget to stabilize and calm down. I get just as exited as I was the first time, and I never remember to do anything but running around, showing DCs "who's the BOSS" :P...:(
Its not like the excitement wake me up or something, its just that it makes my lucids less detailed and more likely to get half or just little lucid. Its also hard to kepp myself lucid when not calming down...
SO! My question is, do any of you DreamViewers experience the same? What do you do to remember to calm down?
