Have you been on a computer in a lucid dream before, if so, how differently do they behave.
I have, it was pretty much the same. I remember using a messenger to chat with one of my friends, also, this is how I found about lucid dreaming - someone told me in my dream to look up "dreaming" on google and I did. I don't remember what I found but when I woke up I googled it again and found dreamviews.
Yes, I have. I remember a dream where I had to kill somebody, and used a computer to look up how to do it.
I didn't actually interact with the computer. I just thought that I needed a computer to look it up, turned around, and there it was (in my bathroom). It was already showing me the article I was supposed to look up, so all I had to do was read it.
The only strange thing about this was that the computer was standing on the toilet.
Sometimes I have trouble with them - similar to the problem of changing light levels - but they're usually fairly reliable. The internet tends to suck me in as though it's a world of its own. In my dreams, any sort of computerized system tends to have weird (often physics-defying) extra features on top of its normal functionality. My phone can be used to teleport from place to place, for example.
I also have a recurring dream character who's a robot. I guess she behaves like one would expect a robot to.
When Im not lucid, they behave pretty much the same, all though they freeze a lot more, also sometimes I try and type things, and the wrong letter pops up, or it doesnt let me type at all. Sometimes the interface is screwy. When Im lucid, I try and go on the internet, and it displays in a foreign language at times, or the words are all jumbled up. When I am super clear, its just like using a regular computer, usually I get knocked out of the dream though for some reason or another.
I think computers will behave how you precieve them to.
In a dream I was using my laptop on the ground and suddenly I got this nasty virus, but the virus was somehow transported to the physical world. It was very strange :/
I have had numerous dreams where i was on irc/on dreamviews forum and it behaves perfectly normal for me.. bar what people say in the thread posts/on irc.
Everything in dreams behave how you expect them to ;)Quote:
