I've had dreams where false-awakenings kept bringing me back to a dream scenery similar to the place I was sleeping. It kept tricking me out of LDs. Aside from this annoyance, it is remarkable how far my mind went to trick me out of realizing I was in dreams.
Any similar experiences?
Most of my LD's start in my "bedroom" because I WILD and start my LD by simply getting out of bed with my dream body. I have to go downstairs and out the front door to start my adventure. I often have FA's and many times multiple FA's in one dream. I'm used to it, so I just do an RC and head back for the front door if I find I'm still dreaming.

I understand what you are saying, by the time you realize you are dreaming its to late to enjoy the dream. It can be truly frustrating. That is also a time where my mind likes to play on my fears. Like someone breaking into my house or a fire in the house. Don't remember off hand who talked about it but they said they got beat up in their bed. I find that when I have false wakening they are nearly aways accompanied with something that plays on my fears. Anyone else have that problem.
I don't understand what would cause such things. Why is there such resistence? Is it some kind of insecurities?
