Average Time in a Lucid Dream

How long can you spend in your average Lucid Dream?

This is for perceived time. Actual time in the waking world may vary.

I would say 2 - 5 minutes, but that's an average, realistically it's either I wake up within 30 seconds, or I can stay in for quite awhile.

Usually 5-10 minutes; some could be more or less. I've had a few in particular that were much longer; these all involved intensive stabilization upon becoming lucid.

10-30 minutes usually. I am very lucky :)

Who ever has that 20 min. to an hour is very lucky.

i second that raetin, I gotta learn to stay in a LD for more than 5 minutes, any advice mancon or others, other than stabilizing.

When I was at my peak, I recall a good amount of my lucid dreams lasting at least 20 minutes. Upon noticing I was dreaming, for some reason I would always just shout commands such as "Clarity now!". I also recall rubbing my hands together to feel the friction, this would always improve the stability for me.

20mins to an hour late in the night, they are 2-15 early in the night.

Didn't vote because I'm sure it'll still change. So far it is about 0-2 minutes I guess. My first lucid being about 1 minute and my second about 3 seconds...

When I first started out with my first few lucid dreams, I could only be in them for around a minute.

Nowdays, a good lucid can last 5-15 minutes, and my dream length shows no signs of stopping in its increase. I KNOW it won't.

For perceived time, a couple of weeks total. That happened once though, many many years ago. I've had a few times where I believed that I spent a couple of days in a dream, and it's not uncommon to have once where it felt like hours. On average, my dreams will feel like...maybe around the actual time spent in the dream, which might be like 20 minutes.

It's usually only about 5 minutes. I've had ones that lasted so long that I ran out of ideas of things to do though and woke myself up out of boredom :P That one lasted a good 40 minutes.
