Technology and Dreaming
So, the way technology works these days has made reality-checking in dreams rather difficult for me.
You know that suggestion that if you read something and it changes while you're trying to read it, you're probably dreaming? Well, Google and Facebook have completely ruined that for me. Predictive Google results and constantly updating Facebook feeds are making my brain assume that it's just the Internet being its normal stupid self.
Has anybody else been having this problem?

when it seems like a dream to you;
plug your nose and try to breathe, if you can breathe, it's a dream, and became Lucid dream.
if you cannot breathe, this is real.

Checking if things change is only one out of many Reality Checks, so have no fear!
Try Reality checks that use your body instead, I find them better anyway!
Look at your hands, do they look normal? Look at your surroundings do they look normal?
To be honest, I have had lots of lucids, and I've never done the double check info change RC!
Ask away if you need anything else,

I guess it's a sign that I spend way too much time on the Internet if I keep dreaming about the Facebook and the Google.

I spend a crap load of time on the computer as well, but I almost never realise I'm in a dream through using computers.
computers just seem harder to use in dreams. a lot of the time i get this DOS like prompt, with all these commands and codes i cannot decipher. or the programs are designed poorly, and very confusing.
you should try other dreams checks. pushing your finger through your hand, the nose plug one, or looking at your watch/any clock two or three times (that one almost always works).
