Never happend to me. I presume you got the idea from inception? xD
Anywhore, just shout "Rock music!" Or whatever type you want, and expect it to play, should work out find.
Or summon a stereo and go from there.
One of my longterm lucid goals is to be in an action-type scenario, with appropriate rock/metal music playing in the background... exactly like a music video! :)
Remember that everything in dreams comes down to expectations. You expect to hear music, and you will, whether it be from commanding the dream to play music or just passively "knowing" it will start playing at a given moment. Recall the last time you listened to music, paying attention to the notes and melody. It helps to visualize DCs or objects when summoning them, and this principle can also work for music (although you're not using sight, but hearing this time). I've heard a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers in a non-lucid dream once, and it was pretty much the same as in real life. If this can happen in regular dreams, it can happen in lucids as well.
I also remember playing a harmonica for a DV Task of the Month, not really expecting any sound in particular, and it gave me a three-note melody. If you want the dream to randomly play music that you've possibly never heard of before, don't try to imagine the tune of the music you want to play... Just let the dream at it!
Whenever I have a fight in a dream, I hear Ghost Love Score by Nightwish. I'm surprised it isn't a dream sign for me.
I often hear music in my dreams, but mostly it is a voice narrating my dreams, which is kinda weird.
But this only happens when I'm in 3rd person, which does happen lot for me!
I completely agree with what Puffin says, it's what you expect, so if you don't like it and your lucid command your dream to stop! ;)
