      Any Star Trek Fans?

Hey, I had completely forgotten about this but remembered it today. Has any body else seen the Star Trek: Voyager episode with the dream species? It's interesting because Lucid Dreaming actually takes a very large role in it! One of the main characters, Chakotay, ends up having to enter a Lucid Dream and contact the dream species. He is the only one that can do it because the species actually puts everyone on the ship to sleep and captures them in the dream world. The episode mentions everything from dream-signs (Chakotay seems to just choose one, Earth's Moon, and sees it in his dream, instantly realizing he was dreaming. If only it was that easy!) to false awakenings (Chakotay has many). I really want to see the episode again from a new perspective, now that I know all about Lucid Dreaming!

A very interesting episode, to say the least!

And now, almost a year later, that's still the only one I've had...

I am Star Trek fan, and I remember seeing this episode. Now that I know about lucid dreaming I would love to see it again. I would probably notice somethings I haven't noticed before.

      I missed that one.
I like Star Trek quite a lot, but never seem to have time to watch it.

Hey moe, remember when you couldn't turn on a TV without seeing Kirk in the original seducing some woman or fighting some alien?

Ahh yes! Those were the days. Although, I should say that after TNG came out. It was out with old ones for me.

You should watch the new series. Star trek: Enterprise is really good. It takes place with the very first ship. It is sort of like the beginning of star trek. I just finished watching season 1 and the first ep of season 2.

I'm an an electrical engineer myself.

I always wanted to see farther into the future. That's probably something that a lot of people like too. Consider the fact that even in the Enterprise edition, where the events take place even before the original Star Trek, yet the stories are mixed with glimpses of the very distant future.

Not saying that I don't like the old episodes, I am just daying that my heart and mind is wide open for the new. I think if it weren't for us fans of the original episodes we would not have seen the new ones.

I had completely forgotten about that episode. I must see it again when I go home (I have almost the entire series on tape).

I especially liked VOYAGER and the technology they used, and 7 was hot! ...but TGN was amazing though.

I like the technology side of star trek and star wars. Everything else I basically don't like about those fictions, same feeling I have for most science fiction actually haha.
