On my other thread many of you recommended to use school as a dream sign. Last night I had a dream about my friend Corey from my school, and I've had many other dreams school related as well. So how should I train myself to realize anything school related in my dream is a dream sign?
I don't know, but once you figure out it's a DS, you'll have lots of fun playing it ^.^, I kid, I kid.
Basically just reality check when you THINK, of school, you're at school, or someone mentions school.
If school is popping up in your dreams alot then it's a good thing to realise, well done.
A good way of training yourself to use a dream sign effectively is to reality check when you see it, when you do the reality check, I find it useful to make it more clear to myself that I am doing the reality check because of dream sign. Like say to yourself in your head (or out loud if no one is around) "Oh look there's my school, it's a dream!" and then do the reality check. Other good ways to make it more clear to you that it could be a dream would be autosuggestion - repeating 'I'm dreaming'. Or generally becoming more aware while your in that area.

Like arch said, the first step is complete: find out a reoccurring dream sign!
If school is something you face everyday, it's normal that will carry out to your dreams, due residual memory. The way you can remember it is with MILD and DILD.
- choose a mantra for your purpose like " Whenever I'm at school I'll do a reality check". Repeat it the whole day
- Visualize yourself dreaming with your school and becoming lucid. Imagine the place, imagine the situation (you can use details from your most vivid school dream).
- When you're at school, always make sure you're alert. Perform reality checks while asking "school is my dreamsign! Am I dreaming?"
If you keep motivated and oriented to this will of recognizing, you should have a easy time getting lucid in the next times you dream with your school. Good luck!
You have to do RCs in the real school in waking life
Like everyone is saying, RC at school and anytime you think of school. I used to RC every time I entered a classroom or visited my locker. Since your life revolves around school, I wouldn't be surprised if you clocked about 30 school related RCs a day, easy. Also, make sure that they are quality checks. No point doing 100 mindless RCs. Quality over quantity, always. Also, actively imagine that you are dreaming several times a day. The more you get into it, the more you train your brain to get used to the idea that you dream all the time and it won't be difficult to go lucid.
