Lunar Power
I have been lucid dreaming consistently for a while now. I realized that I have been doing it naturally for a long time but was never truly cognizant of it. Until, I found you guys and sorted out what was going on. Sooo...thanks!
Anyways, I have noticed that as the full moon cycle approaches my insomnia becomes more intense and consuming. The night of the full moon I NEVER sleep. It's like I am supercharged with energy and there is no way I can fall asleep. The night after I can catch a few zzzzz's and then as it fades I progress towards my normal, deep sleep.
With the moon fading away, is when I have most of my lucid dreams. On the polar opposite of the full moon cycle, is when I lucid dream almost every night. As the full moon approaches again, I slowly lose my grasp on my dream fabric, and my dreams become completely out of my control and wild.
Anybody that can relate to this? Am I some kind of crazy werewolf Lunos freak? Is there any way I can control this, because sometimes the insomnia has repercussions throughout my daily life. (If I don't sleep all night my body and mind suffer the next day)
Any insight or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

... Well... I don't know what to say to this, but maybe it is just a placebo effect? How long have this ..."thing" occurred?

Well that's interesting, No offense, but it kind of reminds me off a werewolf.
If the full moon's light is shining upon you or streaming full into your bedroom - this might have an effect on your sleep since the light may cause you to secrete lower levels of Melatonin, a hormone produced by your pineal gland, to help regulate and control your sleep.
The lower the Melatonin, the more difficult it is for you to go to sleep.
