I need Tips on Flying!
So,
I left this forum for a couple months because I learned all I could from everyone here, I've read every post every guide everything. But one thing I can't get the hang of is flying, I can even make things appear in my hand while looking at it, summon people instantly, and change dream settings easily. If anyone has ANY tips please post them here I just wanna fly! Here are the things I've tried, if something here seems important to you mention it.
-Jumping off of high objects in my dream
-Using another object that makes you fly (Jetpacks, rockets, wings)
-Jumping in the air off the ground and yelling a command to fly or something
-Superman pose
I know I can fly in my dream it never crossed my mind I couldn't it just doesn't work for me for some reason :(

Flying is sometimes one of those things that if it is difficult, you really need to wrap your head around. Understand the nature of dream control - how come you can fly in a dream? Approach it like that and make it make sense within your head.
Why can I fly? - There's no limits in a dream. - What enables me to fly? - Expectation and intent. - What do I intend to do to enable myself to fly? - Disable gravity, push from beneath me. - How do I do that? - Knowledge, expectation and understanding
It's these subtle thought processes that help you with dream control. When you full understand the concept of flying and what actually enables you to fly, I'm sure you'll have no problem with it! :)

Try saying "this is a dream so there is no such thing as gravity"
That's what worked for me.

I would also maybe recommend instinct to you. In one of my first lucids I went flying even though I didn't plan to beforehand, I just lost control over what I wanted to really do in that lucid so I went on a flying stroll.
My dream guide (or whoever it really was...) also supported me later on, but I managed to fly on myself before that. As I thought that I wanted to fly, instinct took over. I just stretched my arms out, jumped a bit and started to glide.
Essentially what I did was stop thinking about wether I could do it and how, I just made my lift off as casually as I would walk or move my hand in real life.
Either way, with one of the mentioned methods you should surely get there.

Try looking down at your feet and seeing the ground move away from you. I find that can be more effective than looking "up" because the sky doesn't look any different when you're 60 feet in the air or just 6 feet. But at 60 feet the ground looks way different.
Also, play any first person shooter video game with jetpacks. It only sounds dumb until you try it.
One more thing, about the rockets: Before you strap one on, just hold it in your hands and feel the thrust. That might help.

Imagine the wind blowing you into the air. Imagine the wind on your face. Try swimming in the air first.
Then use wind to launch yourself into the air and fly.

I made a guide to lucid flying a while back. The link to it is in my signature, i'm sure it will help you.
Be confident, and good luck! :D
