i found out that my awareness was mingled with substitution like giving objects thier propreties in my head and stuff

I don't do all day awareness, rather a variant of it called sporadic awareness or SAT, which is basically the same thing except you do it at random times of the day, and whenever you see or experience something dreamlike or stranger than usual in your waking life.

As for how one goes about maintaining this state all day, the answer is simple: through sheer willpower and determination. Every time your awareness wanes, realise what's happening (without thinking about it, as thinking puts you in a past or future tense and removes you from the present moment) and divert your awareness to the present moment and hold this up until you need to bring your awareness back again.
