Sleep paralysis or just a dream?

Hi, I just woke up from a really strange nap. In the middle of the nap I had to get up for five minutes but I was still feeling drowsy as I went to sleep again. Then I had the sensation of waking up and I couldn't open my mouth, I noticed I could barely move at all so I thought: this might be sleep paralysis. I just waited and it felt like I was being pushed from side to side on my bed. Then I tried to move a little bit and the sensations did fade away a little bit. Suddenly an image came to my head and I could read the following sentence: for 1 or 2 seconds after moving and getting out of sleep paralysis it seems easier to reenter SP (I think I had never read that anywhere). So I tried to go into SP again and it worked, the same sensations appeared. Flashing lights were starting to become a dream scene and I was telling myself to do a reality check as soon as it becomes calm. From there on I don't remember anything.
I'm not sure if I woke up from a dream in SP and did all that consciously or if I was dreaming about waking up in SP (like a FA) and all that was feeling so real because I have read a lot about the sensations you get in SP. What do you think?

PD: When I finally woke up from the nap I could remember a couple of rather vivid dreams but I don't remember being lucid in them.

      Bye!

That was most certainly SP, too bad you didn't go into the dream lucid, though. Practice makes perfect, good luck trying to WILD again You're pretty close.

That sounded like SP to me. You seemed to be so close to a dream though!

Sounds like SP. It also seems that you came really close to having a DEILD. If you can maintain that awareness, you've got a WILD on your hands.

SP, and from what you have said you also had an Out of Body experience. Memory loss is especially common when you project. The flashing lights, being pushed from side to side - I'll bet you heard some strange noises too. All these happen as you Astral Project.

Work harder on recording all dreams, either in a journal or in a voice recorder, and you will better remember your experiences. If you like you can also write a sort of script for a mental movie (Maxwell Maltz's "Psycho-Cybernetics is excellent for this) to program yourself to remember your experiences. You can PM me for more information.

      Your resistance to something,
Is the only power it has over you.
      This too, will pass.

Thanks a lot for your answers. As I did not voluntarily try to have a DEILD or a WILD I thought I may have just dreamt about sleep paralysis. If it really was SP this was the first time I got that far because every time I try to WILD I can't fall asleep and I just feel numb but no other sensations appear. I will keep working on WILD and DEILD
