controlled sleep walking
i used a forced awakening tetnique where affter closing your eyes in a lucid dream you open them up in the waking world, and wake up. One time while doing this i did not awaken, but i saw what i believed was my room in the waking world.. Thinking it might have been similar to a false awakening i tried to use the principals to provide proof.
Long story short, i eventually forced my entire real life body to move across the room and sit in a chair, this time i was flying blind and stepped on stuff but it was all very controlled. Upon waking up my whole body was sore like i had moved while keeping all my muscles tensed and flexed. Anyone else try this?

I always wondered if this was possible. Do you suppose you could talk in your sleep in the same way? If so, you could easily communicate with someone outside of a dream. It would be very useful.

Didn't even think of it, I'd need a witness or a recorder but it would be an excellent next step in the testing process.
Imagine being able to speak to a recorder and actively keep a dream journal as you are experiencing the dream.. I'm not sure how the time displacement would work though.. when I moved it felt like it took hours but i know it was a couple minutes, if that.

You should definitely try using a voice recorder! This sounds really interesting. Try it again sometime, and let us know how it goes :)

People only sleep walk in non-REM sleep (unless you have a REM sleep disorder) so I'm guess you either had a FA or were half awake.
-
people can also dream outside of rem, i know it wasn't a fa because i was dreaming the whole time, i shared vision of my dream and wake worlds simultaniously, albeit was hard to see like when u close ur eyes most the way and lights blur and everything is fuzzy. Anyways after a massive dry spell i got 3 ld's in a row and tried verbal forced within dream wakeing body control (needs a much better name possibly) and got little more than hillarious sounds. There was no time dialation it sounded like a deaf version of what i meant to say no quicker or slower.
This obviously takes practice or.. More thought, thanks for everyones patience, any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it was an FA. I've had FAs very similar to this that were extremely convincing. There was one that I could have sworn was real if not for the fact that it took place in my apartment, but I was visiting my grandmother when I had the dream.

That would be absolutely horrifying/amazing to experience someone doing.

what are u calling an fa? Cause the point is i went to sleep in bed, woke up in my chair, and have no history of sleep walking or other similar sleep illnesses and had the goal to accomptish this while in ld, i woke up once, for real, in my chair. Tried to stretch the soreness away etc.
