How to get back into lucid dreaming?

I haven't had a lucid dream in about, 7 months. I used to get a lucid dream every couple of weeks and I used to have really good dream recall but now I can maybe recall 1 or 2 dreams a week. It's really frustrating, I would love to get back into lucid dreaming again but it's sort of hard when you can hardly remember any dreams and have a lack of motivation. Can anyone give me some tips/motivation? D:

A tip I would give you is don't dive right into it 100%. Take it a little slower so your mind isn't overwhelmed with LDing. Basically you want to get into it a fair amount but not a lot, like jumping into the shallow end of a pool instead of the deep and then wading into the deeper section.

Start a dream journal. If you write something in it every day (even if at first it's just a few words), within a matter of weeks you'll be back to nearly full recall.

When I need motivation, I look through old dream journals. Read your favorite old dreams, and remember how fun it can be.
