I agree about Inception and Avatar. I especially like Avatar especially the scenes with the huge tree and all the colors.

Alice in Wonderland also makes my list.

Wana... Are you a Christian LD'er? Wondered if any out there beside myself. My peers would probably question my sanity! (well not probably. I gave up telling friends)!

Inception was 'ok' to me when I first saw it. But I didn't know about lucid dreaming then. When I actually did it and said 'Oh my God! This stuff is REAL! It immediately became my most absolute favorite movie. I've watched it 5 or so times and always see more in it. Matrix is great too as real LDs are like the 'construct' in the Matrix.
Anyone recall Total Recall? Thats a good one too.

I am inspired by any mind-bending, reality-challenging sci-fi movie. A few that come to mind are:

      Dark City
      Matrix
      Paprika
      The Fountain
      Inception
      Vanilla Sky
      Twelve Monkeys

Basically, anything where the main character questions his memories, experiences, and sanity.

You should all definitely watch/read What Dreams May Come if you haven't. That would be top of my list.

Oh, I agree! Those scenes are amazing.

I'm seeing a lot of Johnny Depp movies here. Haha!

Movies with a lot of fighting and epic special effects usually make me want to LD.

I highly recommend Waking life. It was the film that introduced me to Lucid Dreaming, and watching just a few minutes of it generally inspires me to read through my JD or practise awareness. It can be quite a mission to watch it from start to finish though, since some of the topics even elude me

*Just found enough movies to watch for the next months*

      Matrix
      Waking life

These two are imo the best ones. Matrix just makes you start questioning reality and be aware that lucid dreaming is not just a hobby. Is a perspective of the universe.
Waking life is just amazing, I basically watch it once every week

edit: forgot inception, I added the trailer to my favorite videos because it sounds so epic. Just like the moment we become lucid sounds

I would have to say Avatar because of the landscape of it.

When I watch it I think that I could be able to go anywhere and do anything.

Some episodes of the series House motivate me. As well as Inception.
There's also a movie called The Good Night - The Good Night (2007) - IMDb - which for some reason is not well known.
But it's basically all about LD'ing and is just a good movie all around. 3 great/well known actors in it too! Plus one great but not so well known lol
