Familiar Place that isn't familiar?

I tried looking for a topic about this but I couldn't find anything so I was wondering what you guys thought.

Many times when I have a lucid dream I enter a scene or a place and I think "Oh! I've been here before many times!" I know the ends and outs of the whole thing because I "remember" having been there. However, when I wake up the next morning I realize that it was actually my first visit, and I don't remember ever being there before then. It's a weird feeling - almost like I had knowledge of something while I was dreaming that became lost with consciousness.

So have any of you experienced this before? Is it normal? What are your experiences?
