Prayer is a subject I have done a great deal of study around. I would highly recommend purchasing a copy of, 'Pranic energy - Mystic Power of the Ancients' by Julia Sanderson. It is the best book on prayer I have read. You can find used copies on amazon.com and abebooks.com
It takes about ten to fifteen minutes to conduct your prayer and interestingly the spoken part of the prayer takes less than a minute.

So, Jimbo12, asking people online to pray for you will likely yield no results, even if they do so. Sorry.
On a happier -- and relevant -- note, LD'ing could be a potential tool for finally learning how to focus your thought energy, because there is a chance you can, through dreams, tap the parts of your unconscious, perhaps your soul itself, that innately "know" how the thought energy we're creating is formed, and how to direct it. In my opinion, of course!
* Very briefly, thought could be the energy produced by conscious thought (not to be confused with brainwaves), which exists slightly outside physical reality and therefore may possibly be used to break a few of its laws, simply because it wasn't written into them in the first place. It also might be the foundational energy of the soul. If you want be to elaborate, because this makes no sense in two sentences, just ask.

Seriously though, I won't pray for you as I'm not religious. However I do hope you the best of luck with your future in lucid dreaming.
Hi! Jimbo12, you may want to try and put this in religion/spirituality, if I remember correctly these posts are not supposed to be in general lucidity. Dreamviews also has a very large amount of atheists on it, probably even a majority, so you may not always find the response you are looking for, as shown by people commenting above to tell you they don't pray. Even so, there are a significant amount of religious people on this site, and there may even be a place to post religious things without debate, but if there is I forgot what it is called, maybe I am thinking of something similar but for beyond dreaming.

Praying won't do anything. Sorry if I offended anybody but praying makes no sense whatsoever. We have no solid proof that praying helps, we do on how Earth is created but not praying.
