I am having a hard time relaxing. I kept on saying to "relax", "clear my mind", "thoughts are going to pass." and etc. but still I always end up on imagining and making stories in my head in which I am used to. Any tips? Thanks :D

Try listening to some mediational music. But then again, making up stories isn't bad at all. As long as you're not being too active when making them up. Try to just let go of controlling your imagination, let it run free and just observe your thoughts. Try not to actively be part of the stories you're making up.^^
If you are going for a WILD then I cant offer advice as a DILD guy. But I will say I had similar issues trying to get to sleep after awakening after dream periods. My issue was just trying too hard to Lucid Dream. MILD is a good word... Just mildly try to LD. After a couple months I learned overly stressing to force LDs just doesnt work.
The #1 method that helps me relax is to try to focus on every muscle of my body, one by one, trying release any tension or discomfort.
For instance I'll start with a toe, then do each of the other toes, then move on to one foot at a time, each ankle, each leg, and so on.
I adjust in bed if I realize I'm in a position that doesn't allow a muscle to fully relax. It's best if you don't rush the process.
By the time I get all the way up to my forehead I feel like a blob of jello and totally calm.
I have the same issue. At night when I go to sleep. Not even trying to have a WILD. I keep thinking - "The next experience I have will be in the dreamworld" and then my heart starts pumping and I get excited......which prevents me from falling asleep. I also keep thinking about how uncomfortable I feel, and inevitably I will get an itch in some random place that I have to scratch. It's super annoying.
