Thought Experiments
I know that a common action in dreams is to tell other people that you are dreaming and I know some tasks involve trying to convince someone that you are dreaming. I was wondering if anybody had ever tried convincing a DC that they were the ones that were dreaming, just to see what they do. Anyways, if anybody else had a cool thought experiment I would love to read about them.

A RL friend and I had heard about shared dreaming and had decided to try it out. I got lucid and saw my friend and spent the rest of my time lucid trying to convince him that he was dreaming so that he'd realize that he WAS dreaming and would become lucid too. I did all sorts of things and it didn't work (he even went through the motions of RCing too), but in the morning when I talked to him he'd mentioned a few things he'd remembered from his dream that corresponded with mine. It was fascinating ... and frustrating at the same time, lol.

We actually had a tread about this a long, long while back. It was one of the things we were going to attempt to try, to convince a dream character that THEY were dreaming.
Though we debated whether we could actually convince a manifestation of our subconscious that they were dreaming or if they already knew given our fully conscious lucidity.
Very interesting though experiment.

I have had DCs try to convince me that I was in their dream, before. Honestly, when I am dreaming, my mind is so wonky, I often don't know the difference between someone else's dream and my own dream. Sometimes I will assume that dream characters are dreaming, too. It is too confusing for even the most lucid of my lucid dreams.
